Privacy Policy

This policy describes how InkTankCare, developed by PC Clinic Informática, handles user information. The shortest possible version: we collect no personal data.

1. Data the app collects

None. InkTankCare does not collect, does not store on our servers and does not transmit to us any personal or usage data. There is no account, no sign-in and no telemetry.

2. Where your information lives

Settings, maintenance history and the ink pad estimate are stored exclusively on your computer, in the application data folder (%LOCALAPPDATA%\InkTankCare). You can delete that folder at any time; uninstalling the app removes it.

3. Network connections the app makes

InkTankCare sends no data to PC Clinic Informática. It performs only two kinds of communication:

Ink level readings (SNMP) — queries sent directly to your printer, inside your own local network. Nothing leaves your network.
Licensing and updates — verified through the Microsoft Store, as with any store app. That traffic is handled by Microsoft and follows Microsoft's privacy policy, not ours.

4. No analytics, no ads, no third parties

The app uses no analytics services, displays no advertising and shares no information with third parties for any purpose.

5. Permissions used

InkTankCare only interacts with the local resources it needs: the list of printers installed in Windows, sending print jobs, task scheduling, system notifications and SNMP queries to network printers. It does not require administrator privileges.

6. This website

The inktankcare.com website uses no tracking cookies, has no sign-up forms and employs no third-party analytics tools.
